Welder/Labourer

A & R Dock Maintenance is looking for a Full-time Welder/Labourer to assist with contracts servicing the cottage industry in the Greater Quinte Region

Job Duties: 

• Spring dock and boat lift installation services and Fall removal.
• Crib dock re-construction
• Boathouse leveling and construction.
• Shoreline repairs and erosion control

Skills/Qualifications:

• Carpentry experience is an asset.
• Welding experience is a definite asset (both stick welding and mig)
• Boat license is an asset.
• Experienced with small hand and power tools.
• Capable of working outside in all weather conditions
• Capable of physical work and heavy lifting
• Reliable transportation to and from shop, all out of town travel transportation will be provided

Additional Information:

• Wages: To be discussed based on experience.
• Job Type: Full time, 40-50hrs/wk. year-round.
• Employer is willing to train, certification is not needed
