We are looking to hire a dynamic and organized warehouse and fulfillment tech to help us efficiently execute warehousing, fulfillment, and support duties in our growing business. We are an e-commerce and wholesale material supply company that focuses on traditional, natural materials and tools for restoration, conservation, and building, with a particular emphasis on craftsmanship. OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a person to join our team who approaches order fulfillment and warehouse organization as a craft, with care and attention to detail, with an aim to improve process and efficiency, and with discernment and good judgement, while working well with others.

The Warehouse & Fulfillment Tech will carry out and take responsibility for routine tasks to support warehouse organization and function. Working with clearly established procedures and fulfillment software, they will pick and pack products for shipment to customers, help with receiving orders from suppliers and adding them to inventory, and organizing and tidying the warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Reporting to the Warehouse & Supply Chain Manager.

● Picking, packing, and fulfilling customer orders neatly, accurately, and quickly.

● Receiving, inspecting, unloading, labelling, and storing incoming shipments and updating inventory software.

● Using order fulfillment and shipping software.

● Compiling and organizing shipping-related documentation.

● Maintaining specified high packaging standards and delivery deadlines.

● Process improvement.

● Strategically storing inventory to maximize storage space in the warehouse.

● Keeping a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

● High school diploma or greater

● 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment or equivalent

● 1-2 years of experience on material handling equipment; material handling equipment license an asset.

● Knowledge of WMS.

● Computer literacy and proficiency using fulfillment and web-based inventory software

● General knowledge of Sage Restoration products is an asset.

● Physically fit: able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 Lbs.

PAY RANGE

● $18/hr – $22/hr depending on experience
