Turf Department

Bay Of Quinte Golf & Country Club, located in Belleville Ontario is actively seeking individuals to join their Turf Department team and contribute to the upkeep of the golf course. Bay Of Quinte Golf and Country Club is a well respected, community driven golf club, sporting both 9 and 18 hole courses.

Job Duties: 

• Maintaining general cleanliness of the golf course and grounds.
• Mowing tees, greens, fairways and roughs.
• Line trimming of golf course.
• Bunker maintenance, including raking and mowing surrounding areas.
• Assisting in golf course setup, including hole changing, garbage removal and divot filling.
• Tree maintenance.
• Light machinery maintenance and cleaning.
• Assisting in the completion of golf course projects.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work individually or in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable source of transportation
• Previous golf/grounds maintenance experience is an asset but not a requirement.

Additional Information:

• Compensation: $50-$18.50, Staff uniforms and appreciation events.
• Job type: Full and Part time Seasonal.
• Schedule: Early morning start, weekends and holidays.
