Regional Cadet Support Unit Central is seeking a Driver.

Regional Cadet Support Unit is seeking for Bus Drivers for Trenton Cadet Training Centre in Trenton ON. This is a seasonal opportunity June to August 2025.

Skills Required
ESSENTIAL QUALIFCIATIONS:

Language:
English Essential

Experience:
– Experience driving a school bus

Ability and Skills:
– ability to communicate orally
–ability to perform daily inspections of assigned vehicles

Personal Suitability:
– Effective interpersonal relationships
– Judgement
– Initiative
– Dependability

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Successful completion of a grad 10 education or acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
– Knowledge of WHMIS
– Knowledge of First Aid

Operational Requirements:
– Willingness to work weekends and statutory holidays
– Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions (i.e. heat, humidity, and cold)
– Willingness to be on call during peak season
– Willingness to work overtime

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
Enhanced reliability status;
Police Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid B class drivers license;
Clean driver abstract required (current within 30 days);
Must successfully complete and maintain DND 404 Driver exam and road test to be considered for employment; and
Candidates must meet and maintain the above conditions of employment through their employment.
