Sip & Cycle bike tours from Wellington need some friendly tour guides for the upcoming summer 2025 season and beyond.

Pay Rate: $20/hour plus gratuities.

About this role

You will lead guided bicycle wine tours across a few wineries in The County and must be comfortable cycling approximately 18-20 km over a 6-hour period.

Most travel is along the Millennium Trail and quiet country roads.

Each tour includes stops at four (4) wineries which may include Karlo Estates, Broken Stone, Trail Estates, Closson Chase, Gravel Hill, and others around the area. You would also stop at SHED Chetwyn Farms to visit the friendly, adorable alpacas.

• This is a part-time role that will be busiest between June and September
• The tours operate out of Wellington, ON
• We offer tours for companies, groups of friends, and couples, and you’ll be leading groups of 6-12 people on every tour (tours over 6 people will have two guides)
• Tours are approximately 5.5 hours in length, plus time to get bikes in/out of storage and ready for the tour.
• You’ll be responsible for meeting the groups, taking the groups from winery to winery, and telling the participants more about the area and each winery along the way (talking points will be provided by us!)
• Tours operate daily – we can work around your schedule (we’re looking to build a roster of guides who can be available on one or more days throughout the week).
• Bikes are provided (and kept in a storage area).

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing, and enjoy meeting new people!
• Know how to ride a bicycle and can easily handle 18-20 km of cycling in one day.
• Know a little bit about the County – grew up here, live here, or visit often.
• Enjoy a flexible work schedule.
