Location:                           Property Services, Napanee, Ontario

Supervisor:                       Property Supervisor

Hours of Work:                 7:30 am – 4:00 pm – Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Rate of Pay:                      $17.75 per hour (under review)

Duration:                           May 5, 2025 to August 29, 2025

Closing Date:                   January 31, 2025

The County of Lennox and Addington is seeking applications for a Maintenance/Horticultural Worker for the summer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with daily groundskeeping of County Buildings including; grass cutting/trimming, maintenance of gardens

• Assist with custodial and maintenance tasks in Social Housing Buildings and County owned properties

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered as a full-time student during the current academic year

• Intends to register as a full-time student during the following academic year

• Must be in good physical health and capable of lifting 50 lbs. (repeatedly)

• Employment is conditional upon a satisfactory criminal record check

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Satisfactory attendance record, subject to the requirements of the Ontario Human Rights Code
