Shipper/Receiver

Oakley Woods Croquet is a family owned and operated business, located in Brighton, Ontario, seeking a permanent part-time Shipper/Receiver.

Job Duties:

• Prepares and packs the orders for shipping and double checks all picked orders for accuracy of count and product.
• Receiving tasks, verifies stock and places material in appropriate location
• Responsible to maintain a safe and clean work space
• Light assembly and finishing of some products
• Uses and maintains equipment in a safe manner and informs supervisor immediately of any problems with equipment.
• Assists with ongoing physical inventory counts.
• Executes all other duties as required by the position

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse, picking/packing orders
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting, carrying and moving
• Basic mathematical skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work well individually or as a team player
• Safety conscious

Additional Information:

• Wages: Commensurate with experience
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 2:00pm, flex hours available)
• Job Type: Permanent part-time
