Restaurant Server

We are seeking a full-time food server for a new restaurant located on Front Street in Downtown Belleville.  You will be providing top-notch service and interacting with restaurant guests in an engaging way.  Timing is second half of September 2024

Responsibilities & Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival at the restaurant
• Create a memorable and pleasant dining experience for guests
• Respond to questions about food, beverage, or other services
• Provide suggestions for food or drink choices to guests
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure prompt service and quality of orders
• Carry food and drinks from the kitchen or beverage area to the tables
• Sanitize and set tables throughout shift
• Respect and teamwork – assist other staff when needed
• Work safely, monitor the cleanliness of your section, and ensure work areas are free from clutter

Skill Requirements

• Experience in food service industry a definite asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, energetic outlook and a passion for food and beverage
• A sense of urgency to satisfy the needs of others
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work on weekends
• Language: fluency in English a must, Vietnamese a definite asset but not required
