Residential Counsellor (Part-Time Casual Position)

Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. requires a Residential Counsellor for its Transition Home Program in Belleville. This is a casual part-time position commencing as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will provide client supervision to young adults between 16 – 24 years of age in a residential setting. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work various shifts.

Responsibilities include: client supervision, behaviour management skills, crisis management and the ability to work closely with the Transition Home team.

Qualifications: Preference will be given to an individual with a Community College Diploma in the Social Services field with a minimum of two years’ experience in a related field. A valid driver’s licence and First Aid and CPR training and certification are required.
