Main duties:
- Plans, organizes and oversees operational logistics of supply-chain work units.
- Actively works with production team to prepare, measure, record and organize prepared frozen totes.
- Consults with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
- Communicates regularly with operations manager, warehouse, production supervisor, purchasing and inventory clerks to coordinate activities between warehouses, production floor, on site and offsite locations.
- Maintains inventory of materials needed to complete production, using assigned lot numbers for
- Prepares and maintains various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other production information, using manual and computerized system.
Employment requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary education program of less than two years in Business or Supply Chain Management or relatable programme.
- Manufacturing experience is a valued asset.
Additional information
- Progression to supervisory positions with proven results.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Forklift experience
- References required
