Pharmacy Assistant

Brighton Remedy’s Rx Pharmacy, located in Brighton, provides a wide range of services to keep patients on the road to well-being. This local pharmacy offers kind and knowledgeable customer service and work hard to make sure they provide fast, friendly service and reliable healthcare advice.

Brighton Remedy’s Rx Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Full Time Pharmacy Assistant.

Job Duties: 

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
• Data entry of patient care information into Kroll,
• Third party adjudication,
• Accurate filling of prescription medications,
• Blister/Compliance Packaging
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
• General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
• Handling customer prescription pick up
• Order receiving and sending
• Cashier responsibilities as required in the dispensary

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
• Experience with Kroll is an asset
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
• Strong teamwork ability
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proficient computer/data/entry skills

Additional Information:

• Compensation: $18-21/ hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6- or 8-hour shifts. Weekends as needed
