Part Time Direct Support Professional

Community Living Belleville and Area is an accredited non-profit organization that has provided a range of services and supports to adults and children with intellectual disabilities for over 70 years, and we are looking to expand our team!

Community Living Belleville is seeking to hire Part Time Direct Support Professional

Job Duties:

• Support individuals to achieve their personal goals
• Facilitate relationships, skills and roles which promote effective participation
• Support in community homes, community participation, families in community and out of home respite.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of the Developmental Services Worker, Early Childhood Educator, Social Service Worker, Child & Youth Worker, Community Services & Justice Worker, Behavioral Science Technologist, or other college diploma and/or university degree applicable to the specific position.
• A personal philosophy in human services that is consistent with the mission, vision, goals, and values of Community Living Belleville and Area.
• Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility, service orientation and self-control.
• Must demonstrate initiative, maturity, good physical condition, and a want to advocate for others.

Additional Information:

• Must be available to work all shifts including weekends
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
• Valid G Drivers License and clean drivers abstract
