St. Leonard’s HPE, located in Belleville, provides a broad spectrum of care including early intervention, youth justice services, and housing supports within Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.  We aspire to assist and enable youth and young to build life skills, increase their understanding and empathy, and to restore their self confidence and self-worth though effective, responsive, and accessible programs.

St. Leonard’s HPE is seeking a Part Time Nurse Practitioner to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Provide primary care to patients in a community setting
• Conducted thorough medical intakes/assessments, diagnose, and treat various health conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate youth on healthy habits, disease prevention
• Oversee medications

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario
• Experience working with youth and young adults
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Provide a Broad Sector police record check
