Laborer/Renovation Assistant

Accu Tech Installations Inc. are looking to hire a Full Time – Casual Laborer/Renovation Assistant to support their CAMPBELLFORD, ON projects.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer/Construction Helper to assist with or carry out a variety of construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and work well in a team environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and grow within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist tradespeople and skilled workers on-site
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazards
• Operate hand and power tools as directed
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Perform general labour tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
• Assist with or carry out the following duties within apartment suites:
  • Demolition
  • Framing
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Drywalling
  • Taping/Mudding
  • Painting
  • Flooring

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or general labour is an asset but not required
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights, etc.) are an asset

Additional Information:

Please Note – This is a zero-tolerance drug & alcohol workplace, policy in effect

·         Compensation: $20 – $30 per hour dependent on skill and experience

·         Job type: Full-time (casual – up to 5 weeks or project completion)

·         Schedule: Monday – Friday (no holidays or weekends)

·         Hours: 40 Hours per week
