Kitchen Assistant

Music at Port Milford is currently looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join their team of committed professionals. Under the leadership of the Kitchen Manager, the Kitchen Assistant is responsible for food preparation, meal service, complying with health and food safety and cleanliness standards.

Schedule: Thursday, July 3 – Wednesday August 6, 2025
Location: Milford
$18.50-$20/hour. Accommodation option

Duties and Requirements

• Food preparation
• Meal Service
• Comply with health and food safety and cleanliness standards
• Food Handler’s Certificate
• Experience working in a food service environment or 1 year of course work at culinary school
• Hardworking, honest, flexible, friendly
• Excellent references
• Police Check with vulnerable sector screening (Music at Port Milford will cover cost and provide guidance for screening)
