Kennel Attendant

Black Hill Dog Company is a local dog kennel and training facility situated on a 30-acre farm in Bloomfield, ON. They provide a safe and supportive environment for boarding and training dogs of all breeds, with a Registered Veterinary Technician on-site.

Job Description and Duties

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising

• Maintain cleanliness in kennels and common areas

• Monitor the health and behavior of animals

• Assist with customer service by greeting pet owners and addressing their inquiries

• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff

• Perform heavy lifting as needed

• Follow all safety protocols for animals and staff

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in animal care

• Customer service experience preferred

• Must be 18 years or older

• High school diploma required

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Availability to work weekends

• Experience with dog ownership

• Energetic, dependable, and eager to learn

• Strong time management and communication skills

• Ability to work independently
