Gardening Landscaper

The Flower Girl Gardening is looking for candidates to join our team, who enjoy the outdoors, are passionate about gardening, and take pride in providing a high level of service.

Experience and education in horticulture, gardening or landscaping is an asset but are willing to train if you are looking to gain experience in the gardening field.

Daily tasks would include: pruning shrubs, weeding and edging gardens, use of gas or battery weed trimmer and shears, planting annuals, perennials shrubs and trees, raking, laying mulch and new soil with use of a wheelbarrow. Includes lots of bending, working on knees, lifting, shoveling, reaching, repetitive hand shearing and other physically demanding tasks. Working in a variety of weather such as light rain, heat and/or cold weather.

Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 7 months

Salary: $18.50-$22.00 per hour depending on education and experience 

Expected hours: 24-30 per week

Transportation to the work site required but transportation may be available from within Napanee or Strathcona.
