Cando Information Technology is located in Napanee, Ontario and is a locally owned and operated Internet Service Provider. We provide Internet Service, Computer Sales/Service, Electronic Sales/Service . At CanDo IT you will be working in a fast paced environment and must be able to adapt to may different situations.
Occupation Tasks
- Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling
- Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct them.
- Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer or
- Perform administrative support tasks such as operating computers to work with records, invoices, and other documents .
- Accept payment for services including cash, credit, cheque,
- Maintain records and online databases .
- Provide information about establishment such as services provided.
- Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail, and messages.
- Provide basic technical support

- English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language includif”!fl the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Computers and Electronics – Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

- Tools – Desktop computers , laptops , networking hardware, and I.T. products
- Technology – Accounting software, Excel, QuickBooks, Data base user interface and query software, Microsoft operating systems, and online
Experience
- Related Work Experience – 1-2 year reception and/or sales and/or information technology industry experience
- Required Level of Education – High School Diploma or equivalent
This is a part-time position, 15h per week, to cover a leave, available immediately. It will likely run until October, possibly longer. You must be able to work Saturdays and have reliable transportation to and from work.
