Bartender

Job Description:

Lakeside Inn is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bartending, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role will initially be for Thursday evenings, with the potential for more shifts as the tourist season arrives.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer preferences and established recipes
• Interact with customers, take order drink and food orders, and provide recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Monitor and manage inventory to minimize waste and theft
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies

Requirements:

• Smart serve required or willing to obtain
• Rotating weekends, 14-24 hours per week
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work Thursday evenings, with potential for more shifts as needed
