Master Submarine, located in Campbellford, ON are looking to hire a Full Time – Barista for their busy location soon to re-open.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and attention to detail will ensure that every guest has a memorable experience.

• *Duties**:

– Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.

– Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for order taking and payment processing.

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.

– Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.

– Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.

– Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.

– Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

• *Skills**:

– Barista: 2 year experience (required)

– Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred.

– Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.

– Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.

– Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.

– Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.

– Ability to prepare food items with attention to detail and presentation.

– Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, capable of engaging positively with guests.

– A willingness to help others, both customers and team members, fostering a supportive work environment.
