Fleet Street Barber Company, located in Trenton, is a local Barber who caters to the whole experience. Gone are the days when style and comfort were reserved only for women. More and more men are now seeking not just a fresh haircut, but an experience—an atmosphere where they can unwind and enjoy some of life’s finer things. Here, men can take a moment for themselves—to relax, recharge, and leave feeling and looking their absolute best.

We are seeking a Full Time Barber to join our team

Job Duties:

• Provide haircuts and trims to clients using clippers, scissors, and razors
• Offer shaving, beard trimming, and facial hair grooming services
• Consult with clients to understand their style preferences and recommend suitable cuts or treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and work area
• Apply hair and scalp treatments, such as hot towel services or conditioning
• Educate clients on hair care, grooming products, and maintenance tips
• Schedule appointments and manage client records (if not using a receptionist or booking software)
• Stay updated on current hairstyle trends and techniques
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold excellent customer service
• Manage inventory of barbering supplies and inform management when restocking is needed

Qualifications:

• Completion of a certified barber training program or apprenticeship, preferred but not necessary
• Proficiency in hair cutting, fading, shaving, and grooming techniques
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to recommend styles and products based on client needs
• Familiarity with barber tools and equipment, including maintenance
• Time management skills and ability to handle walk-ins and appointments efficiently
• A strong sense of style, attention to detail, and creativity

Additional Information:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• Wages: TBD
