AZ Driver

Karten Metals, a scrap metal depot located in Trenton is looking to hire an experienced Full-time AZ Driver

Job Duties: 

• Picking up and delivering of scarp materials
• Loading/unloading of goods for safe and secure transport
• Picking up vehicles for scrap
• Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment for safety and fitness
• Communication to Supervisor of any safety or maintenance needs
• Operate Company vehicles in accordance with local laws and all relevant Company policies and procedures

Skills/Qualifications:

• Valid AZ licence required; Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and CVOR required
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience is required for insurance purposes
• Dump Truck and trailer experience is an asset

Additional Information:

• Driving is in the greater Quinte area and GTA with occasional trips to other areas
• Wages start at $23/hr depending on experience
• Hours are Monday-Friday
• Offer benefits after 1 year
