Welder

Quest-Tech Inc., a family-owned precision metal fabricator located in Belleville Ontario is seeking a Full-Time Welder.

Our company was formed in 1982 to supply custom sheet metal parts and assemblies to discerning clients throughout North America and abroad who expect the best concerning quality, lead times, and overall value. Operating out of a large modern 80,000 square foot facility, we provide a complete range of fabrication and finishing services including shearing, laser cutting, punching, forming, welding, painting (wet/powder), silk screening, assembly, and custom packing.

Job Duties: 

• Ability to maintain production and quality standards
• Ability to utilize welding equipment and processes specified by the company
• Maintain welding equipment
• Follow all Safety Procedures
• Ability to Follow Directions

Skills/Qualifications:

• Welding certification
• Welding Experience preferred 2+ years in precision sheet metal
• Stick, Mig & Tig to ASME procedures
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret drawing for dimensions and weld patterns to determine quality adherence to engineering requirements.
• Ability to read process, procedure, and instruction manuals.
• Math/Measuring; demonstrate ability to count, add, subtract fractions and decimals; read a Tape Measure to 1/16” increments.

Additional Information:

• Wage: TBD – Dependent on experience
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00a.m. – 3:30p.m.
• Benefit package offered including medical, vision, dental, RRSP, and profit sharing.
• 6-month probationary period
