Tasting Room Experience Maker

Rosehall Run Vineyards is a family run Estate known for our Award-Winning Wines and exceptional wine experiences. We are looking for passionate, energetic, sales-focused candidates for join our Tasting Room team. If you love wine, people, fun, and fast-paced environments, then this is the place for you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead guests to their perfect experience which will likely include a wine tasting, answering questions about viticultural practices, unique regional characteristics, wine making process and Estate stores
• Provide exceptional service to create a memorable guest experience while driving bottle sales and Wine Club memberships
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tasting room, retail area and outdoor seating area through opening/closing duties and throughout service
• Assist in inventory replenishment
• Process sales transactions using our point-of-sale system, and assist with food service as required (Rosehall Run does not have a restaurant, but offers “patio fare”)

Requirements:

• Previous hospitality, retail, or service industry experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, outgoing, enthusiastic with an interest in wine
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays as well as the occasional after-hours events
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment to include standing for 6 hours and lifting up to 30 lbs is a must
• Requires a current and valid Smart Serve certificate – other training will be provided
• Food handling certificate is not mandatory, but a bonus
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to speak French is an asset
