We’re looking for an energetic, versatile Server to join the team at Bantam. We live for inspired food and bring a “one-team” mindset to every shift. As a Feast On® certified destination, we are dedicated to showcasing the very best of Ontario, with a deep focus on Prince Edward County. While your primary home is on the floor, we believe the best guest experiences happen when the whole house works together—from the dining room to the heart of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• The Floor: Provide high-energy service and share your passion for our locally sourced menu. You don’t just take orders; you tell the story of Bantam and our Prince Edward County farmers and makers.
• Brand Ambassador: Act as a true representative of our farm-to-table ethos, helping guests discover why our region is a world-class culinary destination.
• Communication Hub: Serve as the vital link between the front and back of house. You will answer phones for inquiries and reservations while providing clear, proactive communication with the kitchen to keep service flowing.
• Guest Experience & Sales: Use our POS system to accurately take orders and process payments, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for every guest.
• Station & Inventory Management: Keep the team set up for success by proactively stocking server stations and beverages throughout your shift.
• Environment & Maintenance: Maintain the “vibe” by ensuring our dining rooms and washrooms are clean, prepared, and inviting at all times.
• Team Support: Proactively jump in to help your teammates across the restaurant whenever the pace picks up—no one stays in the weeds alone here.

Requirements:

• A Great Attitude: You bring positive energy and a “how can I help?” mindset.
• Excellent Customer Service: You are genuinely driven to provide an unforgettable experience and thrive on making guests happy.
• Strong Communication: You are a clear communicator who can juggle guest needs with kitchen flow.
• Smart Serve Certified: You must have a valid Smart Serve certification to join our team.
• Bonus: A valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate is a definite plus!
