Optometric Assistant

Campbellford Optometry is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Optometric Assistant – Full Time. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming, professional environment.

Job Duties:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Pre-testing patients prior to their appointment with the optometrist
• Performing additional diagnostic testing as required
• Assisting in creating an efficient and positive clinic experience
• Supporting overall clinic flow and patient care

Qualifications:

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset; however, we are willing to train the right candidate
• Professionalism and respect for patient confidentiality
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) is an asset
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and genuine interest in patient care
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team in all aspects of office operations

Additional Information:

Position Details:

• Full-Time
• Day shifts: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Fridays are a half day or occasionally off
• Pay Rate of $20/hr.
