 The Hut Smoothie & Juice Bar was founded by twin sisters Sydney and Ashley Bly through the desire to bring consistent and simplistic quality goods to the Muskoka area, where the market was otherwise under-saturated. The clientele, with a notable family demographic in cottage country, drove The Hut to pursue their community at the heart of their purpose, and the continuation of that push was seen with the opening of their first Toronto location in 2024.

We’re seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily operations and deliver a smooth, high-quality customer experience. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or retail—and a passion for health and wellness—to join our new Base 31 location in Prince Edward County.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and team performance.
• Provide leadership, training, and support to staff.
• Ensure high standards for customer service and product quality.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and store organization.
• Handle scheduling and staff coordination.
• Provide exceptional customer service, offering product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
• Prepare and serve a variety of menu items, including smoothies, bowls, and toast.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all food safety guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment storage.
• Accurately handle debit and credit transactions.
• Develop a strong knowledge of The Hut’s product lineup.

Skills and Experience

• Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or food service setting.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and support a team while leading by example.
• Passion for health, wellness, and high-quality products.
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
