Legal Assistant

Professor Ekbert Faas has pursued his studies in Munich, Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, Rome and London. Faas is a Professor of English literature, a biographer, novelist and critic. Located in Colborne. Prof. Ekbert Faas is looking for a legal assistant part time

Responsibilities:

• Researching civil law, regulations, legal articles and case law
• Assist in drafting legal documents such as notices, motions, affidavits etc…
• Filing
• Proofreading
• Online research
• Office organization

Qualifications:

• Proficient with computers
• Excellent command of English
• Ability to type min 45 wpm
• Must have a vehicle and ability to get to office

Additional Information:

• $25 per hour
• Hours to be negotiated
• Possible remuneration for travel to be negotiated
