Lead Room Attendant/Cleaner

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Lead Room Attendant to oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain high cleanliness and safety standards throughout the property. This role combines hands-on cleaning responsibilities with additional leadership and maintenance coordination duties. The ideal candidate leads by example, ensures quality control, and helps maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities Daily Housekeeping Duties:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms and kitchenettes
• Change bed linens and replace towels
• Complete laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
• Clean and maintain hallways and common areas
• Empty garbage and recycling and transport waste to the outdoor dumpster area
• Restock amenities and supplies
• Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly

Lead & Oversight Responsibilities:

• Maintain verification logs and reports for fire extinguishers and fire alarm checks
• Schedule and track seasonal PTAC filter cleaning and maintenance
• Coordinate and schedule deep cleaning of mattresses, upholstered furniture, and fabric items
• Schedule periodic deep cleaning of baseboards, walls, vents, and other high-detail areas
• Maintain cleaning schedules and task checklists
• Assist with training new housekeeping team members
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience; leadership experience preferred
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks
• Comfortable completing compliance logs and basic reporting
• Reliable, professional, and able to lead by example
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties
