Grounds Attendant

Located in the heart of Prince Edward County, Isaiah Tubbs Resort & Conference Centre offers a unique blend of hospitality, natural beauty, and exceptional guest experiences. Our team is dedicated to providing outstanding service in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

We are currently seeking a Grounds Attendant to join our team and help maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our outdoor spaces. This role is essential in ensuring our property is welcoming and well-kept for all guests.

Grounds Duties:

• Weeding and trimming garden beds
• Raking fallen leaves/pinecones
• Removing/trimming fallen branches
• Mowing grass in large, open spaces
• Maintaining yard work equipment
• Handling and operating yard work machinery safely and appropriately
• Handling common pesticides safely and appropriately
• Maintain outdoor and guest spaces
• Watering plants and flowers
• Using trimmers to cut close to buildings

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation to and from work is required
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Previous landscaping or yard work experience is an asset, but not required
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs is an asset
• Punctual with strong attendance and reliability
• Able to work well with others as part of a team
• Takes initiative and works independently on tasks
• Able to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Professional and courteous when interacting with guests
