Industrial Painter

Quest-Tech Inc., a family-owned precision metal fabricator located in Belleville Ontario, was formed in 1982 to supply custom sheet metal parts and assemblies to discerning clients throughout North America and abroad who expect the best concerning quality, lead times, and overall value. Operating out of a large modern 80,000 square foot facility, we provide a complete range of fabrication and finishing services including shearing, laser cutting, punching, forming, welding, painting (wet/powder), silk screening, assembly, and custom packing.

Quest-Tech Inc is seeking a Full Time Industrial Painter to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for routine and preventative maintenance painting apparatus within paint shop including a full range of specialized painting projects
• Perform inspections, clean ups, proper storge and disposal of paint products and operating tools
• Inspect surfaces prepared for coating application
• Identify issues and maintain quality and safety standards
• Prepare and power paint a variety of surfaces including Steel, Aluminum and other shop coated metals, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of methods and techniques related to painting
• Knowledge of methods and techniques related to safe use, storage and disposal of paint and cleaning products, chemicals and safe cleanup techniques and practices
• Power coating experience an asset

Additional Information:

• Wages $21.50-$22.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 7am-3:30pm
• Monday to Friday
• Benefits available after probation
