Handyperson/Customer Service Specialist

Legend Boats – HAVELOCK, ON are looking to hire a FT (Seasonal) Handyperson/Customer Service Specialist for their Havelock location.

Job Duties:

What Will You Be Doing?

• Open and close all front display boats daily and ensure they are secured after hours
• Maintain showroom-quality cleanliness of display boats (interior and exterior)
• Perform regular yard maintenance including mowing, trimming, weed control, and general property upkeep
• Assist with boat deliveries and pick-ups as part of a two-person team
• Support service rescues and on-site service appointments as required
• Load and unload boats, trucks, and skid deliveries using appropriate equipment
• Assist customers when retrieving personal belongings from boats
• Help with merchandising, general cleaning, and minor maintenance tasks
• Assist with preparation, setup, and tear-down of open houses, boat shows, and special events
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Assist in backup situations to cover counter sales

Additional duties may be assigned as required to support overall operations.

Qualifications:

The Ideal Candidate Is:

• A strong team player with a solid work ethic
• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending, reaching, and working outdoors
• Comfortable being on their feet most of the day
• Detail-oriented with pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Customer-focused with a professional attitude
• Motivated and a self-starter
• Experienced towing trailers/boats with a valid Class G driver’s license, insurable driving record, and a valid boating license (Pleasure Craft Operator Card)

Additional Information:

Compensation: $20 – $24 per hour, based on experience.

Working on site – Havelock, ON

Position is Full Time – Seasonal – Days, Weekends as required
