Front Desk Team Member

The Main Character is a boutique spa and self-care space in the heart of Picton, designed to help clients feel confident, relaxed, and well cared for. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, organized, and elevated experience from the moment someone walks through our doors.

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Team Member to be the friendly face and calm presence at the front of house while supporting daily spa operations.

Position Overview

The Front Desk Team Member is responsible for providing an exceptional client experience while keeping the spa running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Shifts include: 9:30am-5:00pm; and must be available 1 Saturday per month 12:00pm-6:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere

• Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally

• Book, manage, and adjust client appointments

• Receive and process payments (cash and electronic)

• Offer beverages and assist with client comfort (jackets, directions, etc.)

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and common areas

• Support daily spa operations as part of a collaborative team

Skills and Experience:

• Friendly, professional communication skills

• Comfortable answering phones and responding to emails

• Basic computer skills

• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable handling cash and payments

• Team-player mindset

• High attention to cleanliness and detail

• High school/College education
