Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and food service. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or kitchen settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a professional culinary team committed to excellence.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for cleaning dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation procedures
• Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly
• Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, including organizing supplies and ingredients
• Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly to facilitate smooth food service operations
• Follow safety and hygiene standards consistently to uphold health regulations
• Manage waste disposal efficiently and keep the work area organized and safe

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaborative work
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene regulations
