Dishwasher

Island Park Retirement Residence (Sienna Senior Living), Campbellford ON, are looking to add Part Time – Dishwashers to their team.

This is a Part-Time vacancy at this location

Job Duties:

The Dishwasher is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents and ignites the warmth of human connection.

As a Dishwasher your typical day will impact in the following ways:

• Cleaning dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery following established sanitation procedures.
• Ensuring correct usage of chemicals in dish machine and pot-washing areas, i.e. uses 3-sink method for pot washing.
• Cleaning kitchen, including mopping entire floor.
• Assuming cleaning tasks as per site cleaning schedules.
• Receiving, uncrating, and putting away supplier deliveries as required.
• Alerting team leader to problems and makes recommendations about corrective action.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must haves:

• Grade 10 minimum education required.
• Must have Smart Serve designation, or willing to obtain.
• Proven customer service skills and excellent command of verbal and written English language.
• Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Bonus points for having:

• Safe Food Handling Certification is preferred.

Additional Information:

Pay

• $17.64–$19.47 an hour

This posting is for an existing vacancy.

This is a Permanent Part-Time position with 28 hours bi-weekly.

• Fri – 9:00AM-2:00PM
• Sat – Off
• Sun – Off
• Mon – 9:00AM-2:00PM
• Tues – 4:30PM-10:00PM
• Wed – Off

Week 2:

• Thurs – Off
• Fri – Off
• Sat – 9:00AM-2:00PM
• Sun – 9:00AM-2:00PM
• Mon – 4:30PM-10:00PM
• Tues – Off
• Wed – Off
