Westben – Performing Arts Centre,  in Campbellford, ON are seeking to hire a FULL TIME, Customer Service Assistant for a 12 Week Contract.

Come work with us at our outdoor music festival!

Westben seeks to hire a Customer Service Assistant who will learn and contribute to aspects of audience engagement surrounding live musical productions and community engagement including: box office customer service, event logistics, facility management, hospitality and more. The Assistant will gain valuable experience working closely with our Administration and Marketing Team at the Box Office and at The Barn during Westben’s live summer music festival. The Assistant will be exposed to a stimulating and professional environment while gaining valuable arts industry and community connection knowledge and experience. We are looking for a candidate who: offers great communication skills – in person, on the phone and in writing, works well independently and with a team, maintains a high standard of professionalism, can troubleshoot, think critically and make informed decisions. Interest or experience in music and theatre will be considered an asset.

Qualifications:

Applicants MUST:

• be between the ages of 15 to 30 years old
• be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
• be available to work 35 hours a week including weekends for the duration of a 12-week contract May 19th to August 7th
• possess a valid driver’s license or have access to reliable transportation to rural locations

Additional Information:

Pay – $17.26–$19.83 an hour

Job type – Fixed term contract Temporary

Shift and schedule – 35 Hours per week, Weekends as needed

Location – Campbellford, ON
