Cottage Manager

Nestled inside the picturesque Hay Bay area of The Bay of Quinte, Ashton Park Estates has an upscale campground, cottage rentals, and vacation homes for sale. Ashton Park is thrilled to announce the launch of their newest expansion and with it a  new role of Cottage Manager. This position will be the epicenter of the day-to-day running of the business and they’re looking for an organized, hands-on person. Possibility of advancement in the future. Family atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary but customer service orientation, basic administrative skills, physical ability to clean cottages and a can-do attitude are required!

Duties:

• Scheduling staff and tracking hours / hiring staff
• Cleaning cottages inside and out to a high ‘KOA standard’
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Ordering supplies
• Assisting guests
• Answering cottage enquiries (phone/email/app)
• Booking cottages (commission on new business)
• Administering a ‘cashless business’

Paid Training:

• Safe Drinking Water Systems
• Pool Maintenance

Ranging from 20-30 hours per week, the wage range is $22-$25/hr plus commission, plus bonuses but it will be paid as a salaried position. Benefits to come in 2027. This is a three season position, April to November. It also has the possibility of year-round commissions of cottage sales.
