CNC Program Estimator

Quest-Tech Inc., a family-owned precision metal fabricator located in Belleville Ontario, was formed in 1982 to supply custom sheet metal parts and assemblies to discerning clients throughout North America and abroad who expect the best concerning quality, lead times, and overall value. Operating out of a large modern 80,000 square foot facility, we provide a complete range of fabrication and finishing services including shearing, laser cutting, punching, forming, welding, painting (wet/powder), silk screening, assembly, and custom packing.

Quest-Tech Inc is seeking a Full Time CNC Program Estimator to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD software to ensure efficient and precise manufacturing, minimizing errors and enhancing machine performance.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to produce parts with precise tolerances, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality assurance specifications.
• Monitor CNC and other manufacturing operations to support quality control procedures, make necessary programming and dimensional adjustments and assist in identifying and minimizing defects. Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance product quality.
• Collect and analyze operational data to estimate manufacturing costs and support informed decision-making for process improvements.
• Hand on experience on precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometer screw gauges, height gauge, depth gauge, measuring tapes.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 2 years+ Precision Manufacturing

• Excellent math skids on geometrical and trigonometrical calculations.
• Blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with Spreadsheets and SolidWorks an asset.

Additional Information:

• Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm
• Wages TDB
