Wesley Acres Retreat Centre & Campground provides opportunity for spiritual growth, social connection, and physical recreation in a Christ-centred community. Wesley Acres is a Christian Retreat Centre & Campground in association with the Free Methodist Church in Canada. Wesley Acres serves with excellence, the spiritual, educational, and recreational needs of all people equipping them for Christian service to their family, church and community.
Located in the heart of Prince Edward County just outside Bloomfield, Ontario, Wesley Acres is on the beautiful shores of West Lake overlooking the Sandbanks.

The Line Cook will have a heart for Christian ministry. They will perform a number of frontline food service duties ensuring a positive and healthy food service experience for all Wesley Acres Guests.

Working Conditions:
May/June: Weekends as needed
July/August: up to 40 hours/week; Wednesday – Sunday
Interaction with employees, management, and the public at large
Physically demanding tasks, standing and moving for long periods of time

Employment Period:
May 30 – September 5, 2026

Wage:
$17.60 *based on qualifications and experience. Adjustments may be made depending on job performance and attendance.

Responsibilities:

• Prep ingredients and supplies on a daily basis
• Cook and plate menu items
• Wash dishes, sweep, wipe tables, mop floors, etc.
• Clean kitchen and cafe
• Change garbages
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Food Safe Handler’s Certificate
• Ability to adhere to and abide by the Statements of Faith of the Free Methodist Church in Canada
• Ability to promote the Christian mission of Wesley Acres through words and actions
• Willingness to be a positive team player
