The Royal Hotel is hiring a baker to join our kitchen team.

This is a production-focused role centered on bread. You’ll be working with naturally leavened doughs, shaping and baking daily for service across the hotel.

We run a farm-driven kitchen supported by our own 650-acre farm. The bakery program is an important part of that — simple, well-made bread, done consistently. The hotel is a Michelin Key property, and the kitchen operates with the same level of consistency and attention to detail.

This is a hands-on role. Early mornings, physical work, and repetition are part of it. You’ll be expected to stay organized, manage fermentation, and produce consistent product day to day.

You may also support other areas of pastry when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Has experience with bread production (sourdough, preferments, deck oven)
  • Works clean and stays organized
  • Takes pride in consistency
  • Shows up reliably and manages their time
