Server- Part Time Permanant

The Gables Restaurant, located in Brighton, On, is a local and well-established restaurant that has been operating for over 25 years. New ownership as of 2020 combines tradition and fresh direction with their offerings

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests, presenting menus, answering questions about ingredients, and making recommendations
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately, including modifying for allergies or dietary restrictions and entering the POS system
• Serving food and beverages, checking in with tables
• Clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables immediately after guests leave to ensure quick turnover
• Following health and safety regulations, including verifying legal drinking age and managing alcohol consumption
• Performing opening and closing duties such as cleaning workstations, preparing condiments and restocking server stations

Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred but not mandatory
• SMART serve required
• Excellent communication and multi tasking skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Additional Information:

• $17.60 per hour plus gratuities
• Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
