Retail Sales Associate

Keint-he Winery and Vineyards is seeking a dynamic and personable Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of the winery, providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests with wine selections, and creating a welcoming and memorable experience for visitors.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, reliable, and enjoys connecting with people in a fast-paced retail and hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided wine tastings with customers
• Provide table service and patio food service
• Process sales through a POS system
• Act as a brand ambassador and build strong customer relationships
• Use active sales techniques to enhance the guest experience
• Participate in occasional off-site or evening events
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Smart Serve Certified, or willing to obtain certification
• Available to work weekends
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, active sales techniques
• Knowledge of wine, or willingness to learn about wine production and tasting profiles (training and scripts provided)
• Outgoing, personable, and confident communicating with customers
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work well in a busy, fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs from shoulder height

Additional Information:

This position is approximately 30 hours per week, scheduled over 4 days, primarily:

• Sunday
• Tuesday
• Wednesday
• Saturday

Compensation will be based on experience and performance.
