About the Role

Casa-Dea Estates Winery is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.

Job Duties: 

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep
• Cook a variety of dishes in a timely and consistent manner
• Support pizza preparation and cooking
• Maintain kitchen stock and assist with ordering supplies
• Wash dishes and keep workstations clean and organized
• Ensure the kitchen is kept in safe, clean, and good working order
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Safely operate kitchen equipment, including hot ovens
• Stand for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience working in a kitchen environment
• Ability to cook a variety of dishes with confidence
• Experience in pizza making is considered an asset
• Valid Food Handler’s Certification
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
