Kinlee Terrace, Campbellford ON, is seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded student to join our team as Full Time – General Landscaping Labourer for the 2026 summer season

 

Kinlee Terrace is an affordable and non-profit housing complex located at 224 First Street in Campbellford, Ontario (part of Trent Hills). Managed by Campbellford Non-Profit Housing Inc., it provides 38 townhouses—including rent-geared-to-income and accessible units—designed for individuals and families with low to moderate incomes.

Job Description

Kinlee Terrace is seeking a motivated and reliable Landscaping Labourer for a summer contract position. This role is ideal for a youth candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in outdoor maintenance and landscaping. The successful candidate will support the upkeep and appearance of the property grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, and edging
  • Assist with planting, watering, and maintaining gardens and green spaces
  • Remove weeds, debris, and litter from outdoor areas
  • Support seasonal landscaping tasks such as mulching and soil preparation
  • Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment safely
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or completed high school
  • Interest in outdoor work and landscaping
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. To apply, you must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have been granted refugee status in Canada

Note: International students and temporary residents are not eligible.
