April’s Place – Norwood, ON a new restaurant, will be looking for Part Time and Full Time Cook/Kitchen Aid’s – Restaurant to open in May 2026

Job Duties:

We are seeking a dedicated and personable PERSON to join our team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for food and beverage service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to work on your own as well as with the team.
• Prepare and serve food items, including meal preparation, cooking, and food handling
• Handle food and help with the preparation in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food presentation, garnishing, and ensuring quality standards are met
• Support team members during busy periods by performing serving, cleaning, and light kitchen duties
• Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality roles preferred; experience with kitchen operations or hotel guest services is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, and cleaning in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest services with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality industry

Additional Information:

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
