Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism in all driving activities.
Duties
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Documenting work history movements and deliveries on electronic log.
- Complying with MOT/DOT rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuvering trucks into loading / unloading positions.
- Collecting and verify delivery instructions.
- Experience with hauling Pneumatic Tanks is an asset but not required
Rates of Pay:
- US Mileage Rate $0.60
- Hourly Rate $27.00
Tools / Technologies:
- AZ license required with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Must provide current CVOR and Abstract
- Documenting work history movements and deliveries on electronic log
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
