Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. (Youthab) is looking for a Clinical Manager to lead the mental health team, based in person at our Belleville office.  This is an existing, permanent, full-time vacancy working 35 hours per week, with an hourly wage range of $43.06 to $54.55. This position comes with paid time off, group insurance, and a pension plan.

Youthab is a community based non-profit organization established in 1984 with services designed around 3 pillars – housing, mental health, and employment. We support, connect, and empower people to obtain and maintain safe and affordable housing, good mental health, and employment, facilitating their transition to independence. Our programs operate under the names of Youthab, Career Edge, and Next Step Housing Connection and are free and confidential.

Youthab’s mental health program offers a spectrum of services to young adults, primarily 13 to 24 years of age, who have difficulties with mental health, substance use, family, housing, social wellbeing, education, employment, and/or life skills. Our counselling and therapy program offers psychoeducation and psychotherapy utilizing a client-centered approach to create individualized treatment plans to bring about positive change in thinking, feeling, behaving and social functioning by developing new and healthier coping skills and strategies.

Who You Are

As the Clinical Manager, you are a compassionate and experienced mental health professional who brings strong leadership, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to supporting clients. You are confident navigating crisis situations, supervising and developing staff, and balancing clinical priorities with operational responsibilities. You bring strong individual, group, and family assessment and therapy skills, a solid understanding of community resources, and knowledge of relevant legislation and privacy requirements. You are organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You communicate effectively with staff, community partners, and the leadership team, and you are committed to delivering inclusive, responsive, and high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to Youthab’s mental health programs.
• Hire, supervise, support, train, and evaluate program staff.
• Oversee day-to-day program operations, referrals, waitlists, caseloads, and service delivery.
• Ensure quality, privacy, documentation, and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
• Lead program planning, development, evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, committees, and service providers.
• Prepare and submit funding proposals, required reports, and program documentation.

• Monitor program targets and budgets implementing corrective measures when necessary.

• Act as the agency’s Privacy Officer dealing with privacy issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work
• Registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
• Five years related experience with demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic client record management systems.
• A valid driver’s licence.
