Blaster-in-Charge (full-time)

Job description

We are looking for a hard-working, team-oriented, and competent blaster with experience in quarries, site servicing, road blasting, etc. A Blaster-in-charge should be knowledgeable, responsible, and able to run their jobsite with accountability, inclusivity, and professionalism.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Driver’s License (non-negotiable)
• At least 5 years blasting experience
• Experience with hydraulic drill operation
• Must be a team player with great communication skills, who is eager to learn
• Able to lift heavy loads and be prepared for frequent strenuous activity
• Must be willing and able to work in all elements (heat, cold, wind, rain)
• Willingness to work out of town for periods of time, sometimes at a moment’s notice
• Extremely safety conscious
• Basic computer and smart phone knowledge
• Knowledge of an assortment of tools and equipment
