About Your Role

• You will be directly responsible for enhancing the quality of life of people who live with an intellectual disability
• You will assist people with developing and achieving their Person Directed Plans, goals and outcomes
• On a day-to-day basis, you’ll experience the satisfaction of supporting people as they engage, develop and maintain relationships as well as maintain independence within their home
• You will enhancement to your team as they accomplish goals towards CLPEs accreditation process.
• You will be supporting people to participate in activities within their community (sporting activities, volunteering, working).

We’re Looking For

• Thoughtful, creative professionals who take initiative, foster inclusivity and are champions of supporting people to live their best possible lives
• Human Services graduates (DSW, SSW, BST, CYW etc.) who seek a Full-Time role in an organization that champions continuous improvement, employee growth and supporting people to live, learn, participate and work in the community
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates (renewal costs are compensated)
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational and teamwork skills
• Ability to problem solve, adapt to changing circumstances, lead and mentor colleagues
• Valid G Class Driver’s License, access to a reliable vehicle is required (if personal car used, mileage is compensated)
• Proof of full COVID19 vaccination – based on current Health Canada definition
