Lighthouse Tutoring is a locally owned tutoring company providing personalized, one-on-one academic support for K–12 students across multiple locations in the Quinte and surrounding area.
We support students in a variety of subjects, from early literacy, reading, writing and foundational math to high school English, French, math and sciences. Our approach combines individualized support with structured, Ontario curriculum-aligned resources to help students strengthen their skills, build confidence and feel more successful at school.
Our team includes educators, retired teachers, ECEs, university and college students, and individuals with specialized academic backgrounds. Tutors are supported with resources and guidance developed by an Ontario Certified Teacher, allowing them to focus on building strong relationships with their students and providing meaningful one-on-one support.
At Lighthouse, we believe tutoring should be about more than improving a grade. We want students to understand what they’re learning, recognize what they’re capable of, and leave their sessions feeling more confident than when they walked in.
